The Milbank Educational Foundation will select approximately 15 to 17 Milbank High School seniors to receive a range of scholarship each to be used at a secondary educational institution of the student’s choice. The scholarships range from one to four year awards. To be eligible a student must be a senior at Milbank High School and in the top 50% of the graduating class in the spring of the year of the application. Point Value 10 Citizenship- respect for authority, respect for peers, loyalty 20 Character- honest, dependability, self-discipline, integrity 10 Leadership-school and community leadership experiences 10 Extra Curricular Participation 10 Community and Non-School Activities 20 Scholarship-class rank, grade point average and test score Note: Class rank and GPA as of the end of seven semesters 10 Effort-achievement vs. abilities 10 Educational Plan-career and educational goals and plans for reaching these goals Applications should by typed or neatly written.
